Job Summary
Conduct substance misuse assessments, intake evaluations, and treatment planning for Job Corps students aged 16–24. Provide individual and group counseling, brief interventions, and referrals for additional treatment when needed. Monitor students with substance-use concerns, coordinate case management with healthcare staff, and collaborate with the Mental Health Consultant on co-occurring conditions. Perform drug testing following chain-of-custody procedures and maintain accurate health records and reports. Coordinate prevention education and wellness activities including annual substance-use events while adhering to HIPAA and Job Corps safety requirements. This part-time role at the Anaconda Job Corps Center requires an active substance abuse license and professional liability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification that meets the requirements of the state where services are provided
- Ability to maintain all required licenses, certifications, accreditations, and professional insurance throughout the contract period
- Professional liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence / $3 million aggregate
- Ability to meet background-check and drug-testing requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to receive required DOL/Government approval before providing services
