Drops OSP Crew Lead

Drops OSP Crew Lead will perform underground missile/bore operations and oversee an underground missile and bore crew, installing conduit, pulling conductor, pulling fiber, repairing wire, restoration and operating other equipment. Lead responsibilities include overseeing time and attendance, fiber manager entries, informing Market Leader on team performance, and direct communication with Market Leader on daily project updates. Essential duties include precise and safe missile operation, managing crew members, coordinating work, and ensuring safe, productive execution; experience with vacuum excavation equipment and maintenance; calling in utility locates; potholing utilities in missile path; determining paths per designs; monitoring operations; maintaining and servicing equipment; restoration; reviewing and redlining work prints; assisting project team with close-out packages; preparing and updating network documentation based on topology changes; plus other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities emphasize ability to pass pre-employment screenings, experience with fiber installs, OSHA safety compliance, ability to read design maps, ability to work independently, and ability to manage teams and communicate effectively. Education/experience requires high school diploma or equivalent, CDL, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with restoration experience in asphalt/concrete and optional beneficial experience with vibratory plows or mini-excavators.
