Job Summary
Cool compounds through the mill and mix them within allowable specifications. Monitor production output to maintain quality control and identify product or process issues. Correctly identify batches being milled and ensure belts, pans, and knives are cleaned between compounds. Operate machinery safely and efficiently while following all safety procedures and assisting in modifying or updating them. Operate a forklift for various functions. Work the 3rd shift from 10:45pm to 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday, with a requirement for overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Necessity for attention to detail
- The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output
- Ability to identify any issues with the product or process
- Correctly identifying the correct batch is being milled
- Operating a forklift for various functions
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Close visual work required
- Knowledge of general computer skills
- Willing to work overtime including weekends
