Job Summary
The Drop Installer III is a senior-level field technician responsible for the installation and maintenance of aerial and underground drop connections for both residential and commercial customers. Key responsibilities include splicing, grounding, bonding, and signal testing of coaxial and fiber optic lines, as well as troubleshooting service issues independently. This role involves mentoring junior team members, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, and effective communication with customers. Candidates should have advanced technical knowledge in drop installations, strong problem-solving skills, and the physical capability to perform demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 months to 2 years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license
Additional Requirements
- Employment preference to BBNC and Choggiung shareholders, their spouses, or descendants; second to Alaska Native Corporation shareholders
