Drone Technician (f/m/d)

Job Summary
Oversee hands-on manufacturing, assembly, and testing of UAVs and their subsystems; plan and coordinate production activities to meet project deadlines and technical requirements; support flight testing to validate performance and system integration; develop and implement methods to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and traceability; collaborate with engineering teams to translate designs into functional prototypes and production-ready/test-ready UAVs; define and enhance the R&D lab setup to ensure a safe, efficient, and highly flexible environment for UAV development; maintain lab organization, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety standards; requires completed apprenticeship or craftsman training with 1+ years of relevant experience; experience in soldering, spot welding, 3D printing; UAV-specific electronics and avionics knowledge; highly self-organized with strong multitasking and communication skills; fluent in German or English; flexible with hybrid working hours and Munich office location.
Required Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship or craftsman training in a relevant field with 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in soldering, spot welding, 3D printing
- Working knowledge of UAV-specific electronics, avionics, and related components
- Fluent in German or English
- Highly self-organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality with solid multitasking and self-organization abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (office in Munich)
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to translate designs into functional prototypes and production-ready UAVs
