Job Summary
Provide in-person drone piloting instruction under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development, planning and facilitating drone piloting lessons to prepare students for the Part 107 exam. Meet regularly with the Director, plan and facilitate learning sessions, assist students in developing the skills to pass the Part 107 exam, maintain consistent communication with the Director, model professional and appropriate academic and social behaviors, and perform other duties as assigned. Key skills include drone piloting and instructional ability, working with diverse learners, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, data collection and analysis to guide instruction, independent problem solving, and the ability to teach students of varying skill levels across multiple programs based on interest and ability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience preparing students for FAA Part 107 exam
- Ability to instruct drone piloting
- Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to collect and analyze data to drive instruction
- Ability to work independently applying critical thinking and problem solving
