Drone Operator (f/m/d)

Job Summary
Operate Ground control system and act as mission command during customer demos at customer sites; conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures with system checks and mission reporting; monitor flight telemetry, payload data, and environmental conditions in real time; identify, troubleshoot, and report system malfunctions or anomalies; support integration and testing of new drone platforms, payloads, and software systems; maintain detailed logs and mission records; participate in simulation training and skill development; requires proven experience operating drones/UAV in defense environments and strong communication/teamwork; preferred Remote Pilot Certification and familiarity with autonomous flight systems and GPS-denied operations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating drones/UAV in professional, military, or defense environments
- Experience with ground control stations and mission planning software
- Ability to interpret telemetry data and make real-time operational decisions
- Understanding of flight principles, navigation, networking, and debugging
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Remote Pilot Certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with autonomous flight systems and AI-assisted navigation (preferred)
- Background in defense, aerospace, or military operations (preferred)
- Experience operating in contested or GPS-denied environments (preferred)
