Job Summary
Join The Next Street as a Driving Instructor in Old Saybrook. We’re seeking experienced, patient, and empathetic educators to teach Driver’s Education, supported by an industry-leading paid training program. You’ll work with students to develop safe driving habits, with evenings and weekends required and a set schedule. The role includes comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k match, PTO, paid holidays) and a focus on coaching and care. A CT driver’s license held for at least 5 years, along with successful completion of background checks and drug screening, are required. You’ll be part of a team that values humility, curiosity, and student success through learning and practice.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have held a valid State of Connecticut Driver’s License for at least 5 years
- Must be experienced driver with patience and rule-following
- Must submit to Federal and State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families background check and pre-employment drug screen
