Teach practical driving skills and rules of the road in a Coastline car, guiding students through behind-the-wheel lessons as part of a paid training program to obtain state instructor certification; maintain documentation on student progress, communicate with supervisors, and participate in team meetings, with emphasis on safety, patience, clear instruction, and professionalism during in-car instruction and training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check
- 10 years of legal driving experience
- A genuine passion for helping people learn
- Ability to remain calm in a learning environment
- Ability to give clear instruction, coach, communicate effectively to others
- Strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability
- Ability to focus for extended periods of time
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in a vehicle
- Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, feel
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
