Job Summary
Teach driving fundamentals in a Coastline Car, educating students behind the wheel and guiding them through operator safety and road rules. Participate in a paid training program to obtain state instructor certification, shadow in-car lessons, and document students’ progress. Typical day includes afternoons and weekends with multiple two-hour lessons; responsibilities include safe vehicle control, reporting to supervisors, maintaining professionalism, and attending team meetings for ongoing development.
Required Qualifications
- A genuine passion for helping people learn
- A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check
- Must have 10 years of legal driving experience
- A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability
- Ability to give clear instruction, coach, communicate effectively to others
- Ability to focus for extended periods of time
