Driving Instructor - CA

In a company-provided vehicle, educate and advise students while teaching them the fundamentals of operating a car behind the wheel. The role includes training to obtain state instructor certification through a paid program, with in-person behind-the-wheel sessions and shadowing. Typical day features afternoon/evening lessons (roughly three 2-hour lessons), and responsibilities include teaching driving skills, rules of the road, building student confidence, controlling the vehicle in emergencies, documenting progress, maintaining communication with supervisors, professionalism with students and teammates, and participating in team meetings. Requirements include a valid state driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass background/drug/reference checks, 10 years of legal driving experience, calm instructional demeanor, safety-minded mindset, clear communication, sustained focus, and physical ability to sit, see, hear, and lift up to 25 pounds.
