Driving Instructor - CA

Driving Instructor in CA for Coastline Academy. In a company-provided vehicle, educate and advise students while teaching fundamentals of operating a car behind the wheel. Training will help obtain state instructor certification through a paid program; includes 60 hours of learning (40 hours at home reading/modules and 20 hours behind-the-wheel in-person). In-person training in a Coastline car in your local area; shadow 3 in-car lessons and complete 3×4 hours with a Certified Trainer. Responsibilities include teaching practical driving skills, instruction on rules of the road, helping students build driving confidence, managing emergency situations, documenting progress, and maintaining professional communication with supervisors and team members; attend team meetings for updates and development. Most lessons occur afternoons and weekends aligning with school schedules.
