Job Summary
Teach practical driving skills, road rules, and emergency vehicle control to students in company-provided cars equipped with dashcams. Document student progress, maintain professional communication with supervisors, and attend team meetings. Complete 60 hours of training, including 40 hours of modules and 20 hours of behind-the-wheel sessions with a certified trainer. Shadow three in-car lessons and participate in three four-hour training sessions with a Certified Trainer. Work primarily in afternoons and weekends, delivering three two-hour lessons daily.
Required Qualifications
- A genuine passion for helping people learn
- Ability to remain calm in a learning environment
- A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check
- Must have 10 years of legal driving experience
- A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability
- Ability to give clear instruction, coach, communicate effectively to others
- Ability to focus for extended periods of time
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle
- Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, feel
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
