Job Summary
Pick up clients from residential homes or care facilities and safely transport them to medical appointments, therapy, errands, and approved activities using your personal vehicle. Assist clients with mobility, including safe transfers in and out of the vehicle and use of walkers or wheelchairs. Provide light caregiving and personal support while accompanying clients during outings as required. Communicate professionally with families, facilities, and the office team, offering timely updates on schedules and any concerns. Maintain client privacy and follow all safety procedures and individualized care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience
- Current HHA or CNA certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Active automobile insurance
- Clean and safe driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition
- Comfortable driving clients in your own vehicle
- Safe and responsible driving habits
- Comfortable assisting clients with safe transfers in and out of the vehicle
- Able to assist clients who may use walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and the office team
- Responsive and able to provide timely updates regarding schedules and transportation
- Dependable
