Job Summary
Join our solid waste collection team as a Driver Helper, responsible for assisting the driver in navigating the truck and collecting curbside waste and recycling efficiently. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods, including lifting up to 75 pounds. Candidates must be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and ride on the back of the truck while in motion. Additional earnings are available through extra work and solo routes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Requires constant lifting, walking and climbing onto and off of truck
- Must be able to ride on the rear step of the truck while in motion
