Driver/Yard Crew Member

Job Summary
Prepare boats for customer delivery by pressure washing, scraping bottoms, and washing service vessels. Communicate professionally with customers and team members while completing assigned servicing tasks safely and on time. Operate a small forklift to unload transport trucks under safety protocols and assist technicians when needed. Maintain the marina and yard's clean appearance, including public areas. Report missed deadlines immediately to your manager and attend all assigned meetings. This role requires weekend work and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be able to lift 75 lbs and follow varied directions.

- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Valid driver's license
- Competent and able to execute verbal commands in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to work on, around and under boats while following safety standards
- Some knowledge and/or ability to learn forklift operation
- Have reliable transportation
- Have experience with boat driving on the water
- Willingness to adhere to a safe and drug-free workplace

- Wants to learn the ins and outs of working in a service department and the importance of timing when customers are unable to enjoy the water when their boat is inoperable

- Dedication to learn and grow quickly
- Light Small Forklift operation to unload transport trucks - Training to be provided attending to all safety protocols
- Assisting technicians if needed
- Assist in maintaining the professional, clean appearance of the marina/yard, to include but not limited to maintaining public areas
- Attend all assigned meetings, follow all company policies and procedures, and be genuinely pleasant in the workplace toward peers, customers, vendors, and any other person who enters the facility
- Complete assigned tasks related to servicing a boat in a timely and safe manner
- Communicate with customers and team members professionally and with courtesy
- When deadlines must be missed, communicate to your manager immediately
