Job Summary
Transport residents safely to and from medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities, and social events. Assist with activities as directed by the Lifestyle Director, encourage resident participation in planned programs, and document developing initiatives. Cultivate leisure time activities including games, puzzles, and movies. Maintain a Class B driving permit and provide criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community. Pass all required health screenings including physical, TB, and drug tests, and obtain current basic first aid within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Class B driving permit
- Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
- Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
- Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire
- Must be able to transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
- Must be compassionate and committed
- Must be able to assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director
- Must be able to encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents' fullest potential through planned activities
- Must be able to assist with documenting and developing programs
- Must be able to assist with the Community's arts and crafts activities
- Must be able to cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
