Job Summary
Drive and deliver garage doors and parts from the distribution center to customer locations and job sites; load and unload materials using proper handling equipment; maintain delivery logs and paperwork; inspect and maintain vehicles for safety; provide courteous customer service and address questions or concerns; follow safety protocols and traffic laws; coordinate with the Shipping Supervisor and teammates for timely, accurate deliveries; assist with inventory counts and material handling within the distribution center as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience driving in a distribution or warehouse setting
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and climb in and out of vehicles frequently
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to vehicle operation and material handling
- Knowledge of local and regional traffic laws
