Job Summary
Conduct onsite client pickups of decommissioned IT equipment, safely load, transport, and unload materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and vehicle cleanliness. Manage local and regional routes, including solo travel up to 50% of the time, and coordinate work via phone and email. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to sort and process electronics according to company procedures. Complete vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and deliver exceptional customer service during interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Willing and able to travel, including solo travel when needed
- Comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck
- Hands-on and willing to tackle physical work
- Proficient with computers, including Excel and Google Sheets
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Customer-focused with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, dependable, and consistent
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills
- Adaptable and resourceful problem-solver
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position and communicate with clients, teammates, and regulatory agencies
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any legally permissible pre-employment drug screening
- Employees are expected to report to work fit for duty and free from impairment
- Overnight travel is required and may be up to 50% of the time
- Must possess a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card), or be willing and able to obtain one after accepting an offer of employment and prior to the start date
- Excellent driving and navigation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in logistics or ITAD services is a plus, but not required
- Experience driving larger vehicles is a definite plus, not required
