Job Summary
Plan delivery routes to ensure economical use of time and equipment. Deliver merchandise to customer locations and job sites, obtaining signed receipts, while picking up returned goods and inspecting their condition. Perform warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping product by pulling materials from storage yards and verifying quantities against invoices and purchase orders. Maintain assigned equipment in clean condition and perform routine inspections. Transport, gather, distribute, and stock material safely within a loud environment with exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record with ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- Prior experience safely driving stake bed trucks and other large vehicles
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving, and demonstrated ability to operate assigned vehicles
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to transport, gather, distribute and stock material in a safe, efficient manner
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
- Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees within the organization
