Job Summary

Conduct daily pickup and drop-off routes for donations at warehouses, assigned boxes, and donor homes while ensuring vehicle security and safe operation. Perform daily walk-around inspections, check air, water, and oil levels, and report any equipment issues immediately. Plan and execute assigned routes, including bagging or carding on both sides of each stop, and ensure truck cabs and boxes are cleaned daily. Load and unload trucks properly, securing goods with blankets and ropes to prevent damage, and provide assistance to Thrift Store personnel for item placement. Supervise Truck Helpers in the rehabilitation program by modeling professional conduct and work habits. Maintain accurate records including delivery manifests and trip logs, adhere to communication procedures, and follow the Manual for Production Assistants strictly.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Valid driver's license for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record
  • Must pass driving test
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs
  • Must be able to read maps and plan and prioritize daily route coverage
  • Must be able to use Ipad with GPS, texting and truck inspection report
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Medical card required depending on city and/or state requirement
  • Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job
