Job Summary
Operate company vehicles including flatbeds, moffetts, cube vans, and boom trucks to deliver building materials to job sites while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Unload and verify deliveries, inspect and secure truck loads, and operate forklifts and other equipment as trained. Adhere to all driving regulations, OSHA requirements, and safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and communicate operational challenges to the manager. Participate in all required meetings and training programs. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with clean record
- Possess basic knowledge of building materials
- Possess forklift operation knowledge
- Knowledge of delivery equipment
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment safety shoes and clothing
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry greater weights occasionally
- Ability to push and pull carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to display leadership and direct and supervise within their department
- Ability to communicate operational challenges and improvement ideas to the manager
- Ability to collaborate with team members
- Ability to attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
- Ability to attend and participate in all required company training programs
