Job Summary
Locate bakery products, verify invoices, load trucks in sequence, and deliver orders to customers while obtaining signed invoices. Check short sheets for missing items, consult managers for last-minute instructions, and rotate merchandise. Maintain the vehicle by checking tire pressure and wear daily, filling gas, oil, and water, and completing pre and post trip checklists. Keep the truck interior and exterior clean and sanitized, reporting any problems to the Delivery Manager or supervisor. Assist CDL drivers with loading and unloading during large deliveries to Zippy's units. Work Monday through Sunday, 12 Midnight to 8:30 am, including holidays, lifting up to 300 lbs. Requires a valid Hawaii Type 3 license and 18,000 lbs GVW truck experience.
Required Qualifications
- Available for work on Monday through Sunday, 12 Midnight to 8:30 am AM
- Available to work on all holidays
- Must be in good physical shape to lift 40 - 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push rack of products up to 200 - 300 lbs
- Must be able to reason and use common sense
- Must be able to read and understand traffic laws, road signage, and military base regulations
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening
- Must also have passed a TB test Dated/Issued within 12 months of date of hire OR Dated/Issued at the age of 16 or older
- Fully Vaccination with the Covid-19 vaccine is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Operating and maintaining a 15,000 lbs GVW truck or less
- Valid Hawaii Driver's License
- Type 3 License – 18,000 lbs GVW
- Clean Abstract
