Job Summary
Transport patients and staff via company vehicle to assigned destinations (e.g., resident, other healthcare facilities, court) in the Los Angeles County area; maintain accurate vehicle trip-tickets daily; comply with state reporting requirements and incident reporting procedures; coordinate with Transportation Services for cancellations or re-routing; assist with other transportation duties as needed (e.g., post office, vendor pickups); report vehicle service needs and ensure safety and reliability; comply with passenger safety policies and contribute to Kedren’s mission, objectives, and fundraising activities; perform vehicle maintenance tasks (inspection, cleaning, fueling, parking) and work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years transportation driver experience in a healthcare environment or related field
- Valid Class B Driver License (State of California Department of Motor Vehicle)
- Valid Bus Driver Certificate (State California Department of Transportation) and/or demonstrated ability meet physical examination requirements
- Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
