Job Summary
Load, unload, and deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently to client locations while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, prepare documentation in accordance with Federal D.O.T. Regulations, and maintain Hours of Service requirements. Drive in accordance with company policies and adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic, weather, and schedule changes. This role includes a 5pm-5am schedule with days off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, an overnight and weekend differential, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus for drivers with one year of fuel transport experience.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
- TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card), or the ability to obtain one
- 2+ years' experience as a CDL truck driver, preferably with liquid/ potential shifting loads
- 1+ year of Petroleum Hauling experience
- Must possess and maintain a D.O.T Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards
- Ability to adapt and anticipate unexpected situations such as traffic, weather, road conditions, schedule changes, etc.
- Ability to regularly lift, push and pull 30 - 50 pounds and use fuel hoses and related equipment
- Schedule would be 5pm-5am
- Days off will be Tue/Wed
