Job Summary
Drive, operate, and maintain transportation trucks to tow and transport vehicles to and from the lot or auction block. Rig vehicles using approved procedures while observing instruments. Make necessary routine repairs, clean and maintain work areas and tools, and record and log trips. Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requires a valid Class Driver's License with proper endorsements, safe driving record, and 1+ years of experience operating medium-heavy automotive machinery. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions. Hourly pay rate of $10. No immigration or work visa sponsorship provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience operating medium-heavy automotive machinery, including wrecker or tow trucks
- Valid Class Driver's License with proper endorsements
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Proven communication and interaction skills
- Demonstrated skill with minor automotive repair or maintenance
- Proven ability to operate trucks or machinery
- Ability to work both inside automotive machinery or outside in varying conditions as required
- Able to operate and manipulate equipment or machinery as necessary to perform role
- Must be able to position self to rig vehicles, which may include stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, standing, and sitting
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 50 lbs
