Driver Training Consultant

Driver Training Consultant responsible for overseeing driver training programs and onboarding enhancements. Responsibilities include ensuring drivers are upgraded and assigned to a truck promptly, collaborating with the Director of Driver Training to identify opportunities and share best practices, reviewing and managing the upgrade process for driver trainees, analyzing retention data to identify training needs, coordinating with terminal leadership and operations to understand driver needs, tracking metrics for Trainers and guiding improvements in trainee progression to solo driver status, coaching Trainers on critical judgment and decision-making to align with leadership expectations, maintaining open communication with Trainers, Operational Partners, Trainee Drivers, and Driver Mentors to identify process improvements, creating and using reports to maintain desired metrics, assisting Terminal teams with pairing Trainers and Trainees, supporting safety compliance activities, reviewing payroll accuracy, participating in recognition campaigns, and proactively helping others achieve organizational objectives.
