Job Summary
Driver Trainer responsible for delivering driver-related training, evaluating training impact, and maintaining records. Delivers in-house Driver CPC training, training on drivers’ hours/tachographs/WTD rules, inductions for new starters, and monitors driver performance using coaching techniques. Maintains up-to-date records, liaises with Transport Management, assesses training needs, provides guidance to H&S/HR departments, completes risk assessments for sites and delivery points, and supports ongoing driver development with strong communication and presentation skills. Requires LGV C&E driving licence, ability to work under pressure, proficient MS Office skills, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative, inclusive logistics environment.
Required Qualifications
- Essential skills in LGV C&E Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- A good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications
- Qualified to Advanced driving level would be desirable
- Excellent presentation skills
