Driver Trainee

Driver Trainee will undergo Republic Services’ CDL training to obtain a CDL and move into a Driver role across company lines (Residential/Commercial/Industrial/Roll-Off). The program includes classroom study, on-road training, driving experience, and access to a loaner truck to take the CDL examination. After obtaining a CDL, the incumbent will perform Driver responsibilities in one of the company lines of business and engage in ongoing duties per safety policies, route sheets, and service requirements. The role emphasizes training, safety procedures, vehicle inspections, route servicing, and adherence to company policies until CDL completion and transition to a licensed driver.
