Driver Trainee

Complete Republic Services' CDL training program, including classroom study, on-route training, and driving experience, to obtain a commercial driver's license. Operate a heavy or commercial truck along designated routes, performing pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Safely lift, load, and dispose of collected material at facilities while monitoring waste for unacceptable items and tagging unsatisfactory containers. Follow all safety policies and report any safety issues on standard reports. After obtaining a CDL, complete twelve full months of employment in lines of business such as Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off.
