Complete Republic Services' CDL training program, including classroom study, on-route training, driving experience, and vehicle loans to pass the state examination. Operate heavy trucks along designated routes to service customers, performing pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment meet company policy. Safely lift and load refuse, operate compactors, and dispose of collected material while monitoring waste for unacceptable containers and tagging unsatisfactory items. Continuously monitor vehicle conditions to minimize downtime, clean waste from packer blades and truck bodies, and report safety issues on standard reports. Follow all required safety policies and procedures to protect colleagues and communities.
