Job Summary
Conduct safe, regulated transit driving in compliance with Federal Transit Administration drug and alcohol regulations, including random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing. Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record from the past three years, passing background checks, DOT physicals, and pre-employment drug and alcohol tests. Operate under a safety-sensitive role requiring full application completion at Town and Country Transit offices or online. Earn $18.50/hour during probation and $21.25/hour thereafter, with benefits including health, vision, dental, 401(k) matching, and paid time off for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license
- An acceptable driving record from the state(s) lived in the prior three (3) years that passes hiring criteria found in TACT policies
- Pass a background check
- Pass an initial DOT physical and recertification every 2 years, or as often as determined by a certifying medical profession
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol test
