Job Summary
Conduct safe transport of individuals to and from Salvation Army functions while performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain and clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, accurately recording any damages or wear in the bus journal and reporting issues to the supervisor. Execute special pick-ups only as assigned by the Operations and Development Manager and notify them of necessary parts for vehicle upkeep. Adhere to all applicable driving laws and regulations, and complete required drug testing and background checks as mandated by Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Valid PA Driver's License with good driving record
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army
