Job Summary
Conduct random on-site verification visits to the home and employment of home confinement residents, ensuring varied days and times. Perform urinalysis testing, vehicle searches, and scheduled or impromptu cleanliness checks of the facility to maintain health and environmental standards. Supervise meals, visitor hours, and work details while monitoring for unusual behavior, and interface with correctional agency personnel to coordinate resident activities. Document disciplinary actions, maintain accurate Daily Log records, and secure prescription medication. Complete in-service training, participate in staff meetings, and adhere to attendance policies including overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or has passed a General Education Development (GED) test.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age at time of employment.
- Complete a full criminal background investigation to include fingerprints, and NCIC/NLET check to determine criminal history.
- One (1) year experience in a related field.
- Personal vehicle available for company business.
- Valid state driver's license at the time of appointment and a willingness to travel throughout the state.
- Must be able to meet company standards regarding automobile insurance.
- Be of good moral character.
- Ability to work with computers and the applicable software typically used by the facility.
