Job Summary
Driver position responsible for driving company vehicles to pickup and deliver customers’ equipment, loading and securing shipments, reviewing and establishing routes, maintaining and inspecting vehicles, communicating with customers and internal teams, acting as a liaison between customers and SIMCO Electronics, packaging and documenting outgoing shipments, handling will call and COD processes, updating systems with shipment details, generating daily reports, and initiating non-conformance documentation as needed. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, at least 1 year of driving experience, familiarity with local routes, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, travel to various sites, and a full-time, exempt work arrangement. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- “Clean” and satisfactory driving record
- One plus year of experience as a Driver
- Reasonable knowledge of the area/location routes, streets, highways, etc. and a good sense of direction
- Travel is required
- Physical Demands: lift up to 50 lbs unaided
