Job Summary
Serve as the primary contact for drivers navigating the terminal visit, delivering the Werner Welcome Experience orientation and educating them on equipment operation and maintenance. Assign drivers to tractors, maintain tractor data in the iSeries planning grid, and document all interactions and resolutions. Proactively confirm driver expectations are met and update driver materials as needed. Maintain timely attendance according to the scheduled shift. This role supports Werner's truckload transportation and logistics services across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent experience
- Three to five years transportation experience within the trucking industry
- One to two years of customer service experience
- Ability to communicate, educate and negotiate in a professional manner
- Ability to operate a PC, including iSeries, Excel, and Word
- Strong decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Werner portfolio and business units
Desired Qualifications
- CDL preferred
