DRIVER SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily delivery routes, analyze staffing and scheduling gaps, and coach delivery personnel on company standards and merchising techniques. Manage administrative tasks including hiring, payroll records, performance appraisals, and weekly team meetings while developing new training programs and assisting swing drivers with CDL licensing. Address customer concerns, maintain package integrity, ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA laws, and control department expenditures within budget. Requires a Class A CDL license, ability to lift 40 lbs continuously, and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and adverse weather.
Required Qualifications
- Physical ability to complete all job tasks-repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing, the ability to lift to 40 lbs. continuously, overhead
- Willingness to work until the entire job is completed, including working in adverse weather conditions, weekends and holidays as dictated
- Complete all required training and continuing education for position
- Strong managerial, communication, customer service and leadership skills
- Understanding of and competent in computer technology necessary for the position
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Class A CDL License
- Ability to always present yourself in a professional manner
