Job Summary
Driver Supervisor who oversees a group of drivers and dispatch operations, ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety performance. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, and managing drivers; monitoring performance and training intervals; ensuring proper staffing and on-time, compliant attendance; driving employee development through feedback and DriveCam/customer feedback; investigating safety issues; planning future shift coverage and run changes; enforcing safety standards, regulatory compliance, and credentialing for CMVs; collaborating with HR on personnel matters and upholding the CBA; reviewing DOT logs and monitoring real-time on-time performance; and managing disciplinary actions as needed. Requires leadership, data analysis, and strong communication to maintain labor relations and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ year in operations experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions
- Safety and Workers Compensation, Labor relations, and CBA experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Windows applications, e-mail etc.
