Job Summary
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane to and from bulk trucks, tanks, and cylinders for customers. Maintain a clean vehicle, conduct pre and post inspections, and document tank levels and delivery tickets using available technology. Collaborate with the Dispatcher on routing and scheduling, reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately. Perform site and visual tank inspections while reporting any problems to the Fleet Manager. Employees may work overtime when business needs require it. This seasonal role offers flexible schedules and an on-call incentive stipend. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience
- CDL Class B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
- Current DOT medical certification
- Legal Authorization to work in the US
- Must be able to work overtime hours
- Must be able to transfer, collect, load and deliver propane
- Must be able to maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Must be able to monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing
- Must be able to accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers
- Must be able to accurately complete and submit daily driver report
- Must be able to maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards
- Must be able to report any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher
- Must be able to conduct pre and post vehicle inspections
- Must be able to conduct site inspections
- Must be able to conduct visual tank inspections
- Must be able to collaborate with the Dispatcher
- Must be able to notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately
