Job Summary
Deliver and pickup customer orders and support logistics operations in San Leandro, CA. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting customer orders and packing slips, assembling orders from stock, loading pallets, loading and delivering orders to branches, and maintaining vehicle safety and equipment. Must possess a current, valid Driver's License, maintain a violation-free driving record, be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted, and comply with DOT/OSHA safety programs. Typical hours 4:00 am – 12:30 pm; non-exempt. Location-based duties include operating in California with active customer-service duties and pickup/delivery responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, valid Driver's License
- Must maintain violation free driving record
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
- Read invoices and packing slips
- Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas
- Archive and assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves
- Load, transport and deliver customer orders and branch transfers to specified branches
- Maintain and protect company property
- Safety certifications required by DOT and OSHA
