Job Summary
As an OATS Transit driver, treat riders with respect and assist them on and off the bus. Safely secure mobility devices, maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct vehicle inspections, and complete required paperwork. Drivers should be organized, independent, and have a proactive attitude. This role is physically active and requires the ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds. Valid Class E or CDL license with a good driving record is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 23 years of age
- Class E or CDL license is required with no more than 4 points assessed
- Must be able to pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test
- Must take and pass drug screening, and undergo random drug/alcohol testing
- Must be bondable
- Computer experience is a plus
