Job Summary
Drivers at Spectrum Foods play a crucial role in connecting the company with its customers by delivering products to various locations including restaurants, schools, and government bases. Responsibilities include operating trucks between 12 to 26 feet, pulling inventory for delivery, and ensuring safe transportation of goods. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and a DOT Medical Examiner’s card. Successful candidates will show teamwork, adhere to food safety protocols, and be available for potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in the United States of America and be E-Verified
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to communicate in basic English
- Ability to successfully follow directions and assignments
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to lift up to 75 LBS
- Ability to reach and lift products safely
- Ability to squat and lift products safely
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT)
- Ability to work in different environments
- Ability to adapt to unique situations and work well under stress
- Ability to remain on your feet for 6-8 hours a day
- Have a clean driving record
- Must have a verifiable driving experience
- Must have a Valid driver's license
- Must have DOT Medical Examiner’s card
