Job Summary
Drive a catering delivery truck to assigned areas, delivering hot and cold food items, beverages, and equipment while adhering to strict timelines and provincial safety policies. Perform catering setups and tear-downs, including buffets and place settings, and move heavy items up to 50lbs in all weather conditions. Communicate with clients and managers during deliveries, maintain daily vehicle inspections and logs, and submit billing forms and receipts. This role requires independent work without direct supervision and the ability to operate a truck with a tail gate lift.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License without restrictions
- Capability to lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Ability to follow timelines to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to perform duties on a truck with a tail gate lift
- Ability to move food carts and hot food containers in all weather conditions
- Ability to deliver, load and unload products, food or equipment
- Ability to store or set up delivered items
- Ability to maintain driver logs
- Ability to submit billing forms to designated representatives
- Ability to collect receipts
- Ability to follow all Sodexo, client and regulatory policies
- Ability to monitor the appearance, operation, maintenance and repairs of the vehicle
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
