Job Summary
Transport products from warehousing locations to store locations and manage, rotate, and maintain stock at retail. Sort and pick up all breakage/empties, then build and merchandise all displays with proper POS while adhering to company "Quality Assurance Policy" guidelines. Complete route settlement responsibilities accurately, follow correct check-out and check-in procedures, and report vehicle damage and maintenance to management. Maintain a neat and professional appearance, drive safely obeying all DOT requirements, and report competitive activities to your supervisor. This role requires a valid Class A CDL and DOT Med Card, with no anticipated overnight travel but daily local travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- DOT Med Card
- Self-motivated to be safe and effective on the job, including compliance with all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Desire to work in an individual atmosphere for a large percentage of the worktime
- Customer focused mentality and strong desire to meet retailer needs through on time product delivery
- Aged 21 years or older
- Verifiable CDL driving experience
- No felonies within the past two years
- No alcohol or controlled substance related offenses within the past two years
- No theft within the past two years
- No more than one reckless driving charge within the past three years
- Must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move up to 160 pounds
