Job Summary
Pick up and deliver residents to scheduled activities, group functions, and medical appointments. Perform daily safety checks on the vehicle, record mileage and attendance, and maintain cleanliness inside and out. Transport vehicles to service locations for preventive maintenance, notify supervisors of repairs or resident incidents, and handle miscellaneous administrative errands. Requires a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement, good driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Part-time Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Good driving record
- Passenger Endorsement
- Must be able to sit in a vehicle for up to six (6) hours per day
- Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to load and unload cargo areas
- Must have the ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on vehicles according to schedule
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for handling luggage and resident groceries
- Must have good driving skills in handling vehicles on wet and/or slippery roads
- Must possess a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with the residents at all times
- Must be able to interpret and follow map directions
