Job Summary
Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return, maintaining delivery time windows. Immediately communicate problems with the supervisor and perform all duties while following the company's safety standards. Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to dress code and cleanliness standards. This hourly DOT driver position is located at the Victoria, TX shuttle site and requires a Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, at least one year of DOT driving experience, and a good driving record. Drivers operate single axle trailers ranging from 28 to 48 feet and use dash cameras that leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving and capture safety events.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three (3) years.
- Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
- At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
- Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver's license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
- Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED – Work experience may be substituted for education.
