Job Summary
Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch while maintaining delivery time windows. Immediately communicate problems with your supervisor and perform all duties by following company safety standards. Operate single axle and tandem axle tractors with 28, 36, and 48 ft. trailers, ensuring a good driving record and passing required drug and physical screening. Maintain professionalism, dress code, and cleanliness standards while representing Ben E. Keith. This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements and at least one year of DOT driving experience. Use dash cameras to monitor safe driving and capture safety events.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three (3) years.
- Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
- At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
- Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver's license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
- Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED – Work experience may be substituted for education.
