Job Summary
Chauffeur residents to activities and events while ensuring safety during entry, exit, and vehicle motion. Maintain the company van, perform light maintenance tasks like cleaning and trash removal, and pick up or deliver errands as requested. Monitor weekly or daily transportation schedules and report resident health, safety, or mechanical concerns immediately to the supervisor. Work part-time with daily pay, PTO, and health benefits. Must hold a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years old, and possess basic mechanical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check
- Valid drivers' license sufficient to drive the company vehicle
- Valid CDL license if required
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate a vehicle safely
- Interpersonal skills to work with various levels of people, associates, and residents
- Be free of communicable disease
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to follow directions
