Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient deliveries across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, utilizing GPS to plan optimal routes while adhering to all traffic laws. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checks for oil and tire pressure, and maintain strict cleanliness standards for both the vehicle and work area. Complete drop-off and pick-up processes using the Scanning system, manage required paperwork, and ensure 6S compliance in the work zone. Support the shipping department with product packing when not on routes. Requires a valid driver's license, forklift certification within 90 days, and ability to drive up to five hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent organization and attention to detail skills
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills
- Demonstrated acceptable performance of the required job duties, including the use of arithmetic
- Must have a valid driver's license for 2+ years, without any driving restrictions
- Electric pallet jack and forklift certification
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally
