Job Summary
Driver Services Administrator at Langley Terminal focused on delivering exceptional driver/customer service. Responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for Drivers and Owner-Operators, welcoming walk-ins, supporting pre-onboarding steps (Road Test and paperwork), maintaining driver files (cards, tests, certifications, documents), creating pay scales and employment contracts, providing administrative support (passport applications, licenses, work permits), managing mail/courier, presenting benefits/HR policies in orientation, coordinating onsite events, and supporting special projects. Skills emphasized include strong communication, organization, multitasking, attention to detail, problem solving, and experience with Microsoft Office. The role values experience in administrative support, customer service, and an interest in marketing/social media initiatives. Education noted as a Diploma in Business Administration or related field is an asset. Prior transport-industry experience and ability to commute to Langley terminal are considered assets.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Minimum 2 years in a customer service or service-driven role
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset
- Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
- Experience supporting events, engagement, or social media initiatives is an asset
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to the Langley terminal
